Solstice is a symbolic moment that heralds the season ahead—a time when everything begins to emerge, post-winter, into light, energy, and new growth.

This September, Commercial Bay brings that feeling to life with Solstice—a four-day celebration of fashion, music, food, and togetherness. Now in its third year, and more expansive than ever, Solstice transforms Auckland’s leading shopping and dining precinct into a luminous expression of the season to come.

By day, exclusive offers from our fashion retailers and restaurants invite discovery and indulgence. By night, the city lights glow a little brighter, as Commercial Bay’s laneway becomes New Zealand’s longest open-air runway. Two runway shows will see 50 models move through the space to a curated soundtrack, joined by special musical guests, offering an evocative first look at the silhouettes and styles of summer.

At its heart, Solstice is a feeling—of anticipation, reconnection, and celebration. A call to emerge, to gather, and to embrace the long days and golden moments ahead.
